Where It All Began

It started during Covid. When the world locked down, we looked around our community in Huddersfield and saw families struggling in silence — isolated, underfunded, and overlooked. We couldn't wait for someone else to step in.

So we didn't.

Using our own money and the generosity of local businesses who believed in giving their profits a purpose, we started showing up. Delivering support, opening doors, and building connections — quietly, consistently, and without a logo.

We carried on long after the lockdowns ended. Because the need didn't stop.

In 2023, we founded Give a Little Back as a Community Interest Company — not because the work changed, but because we wanted to grow it. To reach more families. To bring more communities into it. To build something that lasts.

We started in West Yorkshire. We're not stopping here.
